Applications are invited for an enthusiastic, dedicated colleague to join the existing 30 consultant gastroenterologists across sites to work mainly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. A particular interest in upper gastrointestinal disease (including therapeutic endoscopy) or inflammatory bowel disease would be welcomed. Clinical responsibility includes outpatient and endoscopy lists as well as supporting inpatient care which us shared on a 7 day consultant of the week model. And will also participate in the GI bleed rota. Successful candidates will be encouraged and supported to further develop their own skills and will also be expected to be involved in Undergraduate and Postgraduate education and research.
