We are currently recruiting to a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist position in the Dartford CAMHS Community Team, based at Unit 1, Twisleton Court, Priory Hill, Dartford, Kent, DA1 2EN.
You will join another CAMHS Consultant, 0.5 wte Specialty Doctor and a Senior Trainee within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

Job description
Job responsibilities
You will be expected to:
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs, across Dartford.
Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
Work directly with young people and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals
Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:14, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.
Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
Work alongside another CAMHS Consultant, Specialty Doctor and Senior Trainee.
Provide the necessary supervision to the Specialty Doctor and Senior Trainee.
Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
